final exam is around the corner, 1st semester is coming to the end

after about 4 months, it's the time for the final week of the lecture, then it is study week before the final exam for 3 papers, starts on 8 nov 2010.
i'm not really worry about the paper to be sit on the exam, but it goes to the thesis that is on-going from sem 1 till next sem 2 (final sem). Most of our senior (although they're younger than us) will extend to another additional sem only for completing the thesis. This is the big challenge for us who under mixed-mode course; where we have (daily classes + assignments + visit + report + group project + final exam) + (thesis + presentation of proposal + final presentation). Master thesis in not as easy as degree thesis. And i still remember how painfull time of my degree's thesis was. Hurgh.
there was only ONE student who successfully grad on time (previous batch), while the rest still pending with the thesis. hurg.

ok, i would like to share something here, from the classes that i attended. we only have ONE lecturer for all subjects for the whole year of this master transport planning course. To make the class more interesting, some outside lecturers were invited. Some of them are lecturers at other university, some are big bosses with years of great experience in transport & logistic (of course Master or Phd in transport holder). It was really really good to have this knowledge sharing, in fact they also will ask us to share our experience as well. For me myself, i have experience in warehousing, procurement as well as purchasing. When the topic of the class is on warehouse, i will share my experience, based on real life, not by refering to text book. Oh yeah we dont even have a texbook. This is what i like the most. We learn more on real situation since transport & logistic rapidly change due technology. Then, when the class of procurement & purchasing, again i shared my experienced, as requested by the lecturer. It was great, since whereever i worked before, they're worth. Really. My working experiences are the value added for my life. You should appreciate your work, although you dont really enjoy it, because it is worth, maybe for some other time.

The thing is, i really enjoy what i'm doing now. And i grateful for the things i experienced before and finally, i know what i want and i'm happy for it. wish me luck, and you too.
